Swap the CHECK constraint on an enum column to reflect a widened member set (ADR-0016). Postgres uses DROP CONSTRAINT … ADD CONSTRAINT in a single transaction; SQLite uses the table-rebuild dance. The field snapshot carries the final desired metadata (members, flags, portable type) so the executor can render the new CHECK and update the bookkeeping row.
