Scan an Array of Token objects and apply any necessary Separator tags to each token.
scan_for_quote(token : Token) : SeparatorQuote | Nil
token - The Token object we want to scan.

This method should usually not be overridden. It delegates to
#to_s(IO) which can be overridden for custom implementations.
